Château Abbey® malt er en mer ristet form for Pale malt. Gir sterk smak av kokt brød, nøtter og frukt.
Château Abbey® malt har en bitter smak som mykner ved aldring, og kan gi en ganske intens smak.
Château Abbey®-malt brukes vanligvis som en liten andel av malten i ølproduksjonen og krever en viss fargedybde.
Brukes i Pale ale-øl, Abbey-øl, brun porter og spesialøl, i et mangfoldig utvalg av britiske øl. Opptil 25 % av maltblandingen.
Specially germinated and kilned at up to 110°C.
Château Abbey® malt is a more toasted form of pale malt. Gives a strong taste of cooked bread, nuts andfruit. Château Abbey® malt has a bitter flavour which mellows on ageing, and can be quite intenselyflavoured. Château Abbey® malt is typically used as a small proportion of the grist in the production of beersrequiring some substantial depth of colour.
Pale ale beers, Abbey beers, brown porter and special beers, in a diverse range of British beers. Up to 10%of the mix.
Malt should be stored in a clean, cool (< 22 °C) and dry (< 35 RH %) area.
